After the Snow Chaos in Europe, New York Proves it Affects Everyone

The snow that fell in huge quantities on Heathrow this winter caught almost everyone by surprise, and had people scrambling to rebook book flights. Many sat for hours in queues, others camped out in the airport for days waiting for the runways to be cleared of snow, for the planes to be wrenched out of the ice, and for the planes to be de-iced. Flights to Rome and elsewhere in Europe saw massive delays
The rest of the country’s airports, like Stansted Airport and Gatwick Airport, both near London and in close proximity to London Heathrow were not so seriously affected. While both had hundreds of flights cancelled everyday, both are smaller airports so you would assume that they would be unable to react to massive snowfall in such a speedy manner as Heathrow, which surely has much better resources at its disposable. But in fact the opposite happened. Heathrow was unable to clear the snow quick enough at the massive airport, and the smaller airports were able to get back up to speed quickly. After passengers has spent months working to earn money, or perhaps taking a holiday after some successful investments with Galvan FSA, they found their holiday plans in complete disarray due to the bad management by Heathrow.
However, we mustn’t be too critical of Heathrow Airport management. Yes, they should have done much better and should invest in order to be better prepared for future blizzards, but look what happened only a few weeks after the Heathrow chaos: airports on the East Coast of the United States were slammed with blizzards, and many had to cancel flights. Great delays happened too. Despite enduring the snow every single year at airports like JFK and Newark, East Coast airports still struggled. It shows that no matter how much you prepare, snow can still put your holiday plans on ice.
